Me, Brigitte.

Passionate about thoughtful, kind and ambitious people, their ideas, dreams and businesses.
Their personalities, strengths and talents.
And their worries, struggles, and “just these days”.

Let’s go on an adventure together!

Do you know this story?

You started the wild ride of doing your own thing in order to ditch the cubicles of corporate life, find greater freedom, and have more impact.

And you’ve soon realised that it’s hard to see the woods for the trees.
Where to start? How to structure? What to focus on?

The solo- and small business world out there has become as noisy and dysfunctional as so many parts of our life. In our one-and-only focus to get clients through the door and money into the bank, it’s so easy to jump from one thing to the next, trying to follow ALL the things that the (self-proclaimed) experts tell us to do.

Yes, I’ve been there, too. In my enthusiasm and ambition to start my own thing, build a different life and make a bigger impact, I tried to do it all – and it didn’t only cost me a lot of time and money, but in the end also my energy and joy.

We are surrounded by other people’s ideas of how we should grow our businesses.

You find countless “secrets” to building and growing your business fast. And no matter if that secret is to charge more, to build a huge list or following (or both), to publish daily content on all the platforms, start a blog or dance on TikTok – it’s not inherently wrong.

But…

Are those actions right for you – right now?
Are they right for the clients you love to work with?
Are they in line with where you want to be in a couple of months or years from now?
Do they support your big dreams and goals?
And do you enjoy what you do?

What I understood after a lot of trial and error (mainly error…):

The only “right” way is the way that feels authentic and honest, that you enjoy, and that doesn’t stress you out or leaves you overwhelmed. The one that is rooted in integrity, genuine human connections and being true to yourself and your clients.

Maybe all the noise and chatter of overnight success leave you rather frustrated than inspired. You realise that building a business needs time, dedication — and actions that support what YOU want to build. But with all the options, you have lost sight of your next best step and the right strategy for you and your business in this moment.

Let me share a simple truth with you:

The only right plan is the one that works for you and your clients – in this stage of your business and life.

At its core, building a business is about creating genuine relationships and making offers that help your clients solve their biggest problems — in ways that align with your current situation, your values and personality, and that deliver impeccable results and support your own growth.

So, let’s cut through the noise, clear out all the distractions, and create a plan that enables you to reach your next summit!

Summits are a big part of my life.

And I bring in all my learnings and experience from being a ski instructor and mountaineer since 30+ years into my strategic work with you.

Why I Do What I Do

I’ve been where you are now.

I struggled with overwhelm and frustration, not knowing what to do first and how to
figure out my next best step. It took me too much time, money, energy and joy to find the support I needed.

When I started out with my solopreneur-journey after 20 years as a tech lawyer in corporate, I didn’t really know where to begin – and ran into all possible directions. I wanted to work with as many people as possible, help all of them, get experience, test my offers and the tools I had learned and earn money as quickly as I could. I tried to figure out how to build my business and “make it work”, wearing all the different hats at the same time.

I started by doing a lot of things with no results. I spent hours and days on creating a website, a logo, business cards – waiting for people to find me. I took loads of marketing courses – just to realize that all I learned was another salesy method and pushy tactics which was not in line with my approach, my values and me as a person.

I followed what others said I SHOULD do, and I made a gazillion mistakes, because those things weren’t aligned with what I value. I learned so much during this time that I’m here today to help you avoid those same mistakes.

I spent way too much money, time and energy on all of this. Not only did it NOT bring me the promised 5-figure months within a couple of weeks (surprise!). What was much worse: my confidence in my abilities and my belief in my idea of building a successful business started to crumble…

It doesn’t have to be this way.

The key is to do LESS, not MORE.
To do the right things right.

I needed to create a plan that was right for ME and my business rather than trying to follow what all the gurus out there said I should do. I needed to come back to what mattered in the current stage of my business.

And then I needed to focus on just that. Nothing else.

Building and growing a business might not be easy, but it is much simpler than it seems.
And today I am convinced that it can (and should) bring you joy!

What I Do When I'm Away From My Desk

When I don’t help brilliant people like you with simple and effective business strategies, you often find me outdoors, usually somewhere in the Alps.

Since a couple of years, I live in beautiful Switzerland – following my passion for mountains, snow and chocolate. Winter is my playground, so during the white season, I also work as a ski instructor and mental coach for young athletes. Believe me, their challenges are similar to ours as a founder or solopreneur!

I love bringing in my learnings and experience that I’ve gained over more than 30 years in the mountains, skiing, touring, climbing, hiking, biking or otherwise playing around.

Mountains teach me how to set goals, to plan and train, to be persistent and resilient, to take care of the right equipment and support by others, to move through unknown terrain, to face the most adverse weather conditions, to know when to keep going and when it’s better to turn around and try again later, to find alternative solutions, to test boundaries and (personal) limits, to simplify and eliminate distractions and focus on what matters. They are my place to go when I need a different perspective, a clear mind, a connection to my roots, and a sense for the power inside of me and around me.

You may also find me with a book and a good hot chocolate (with lots of cream!) in a cosy chair. I can totally forget time and space when I’m reading a great story or autobiography. And I love writing – I’m one of these old-fashioned people who still write letters and postcards, and making time for my journal is a great gift to myself.

You can bet that I’m an introvert and Highly Sensitive Person. But I also love spending time with my friends, cooking something nice, go to concerts, the opera or art galleries, explore new places and cultures, and just spend time together in good conversations.

And for a bit of woo-woo: I’m a Libra, a Generator 4/6, an INFJ and an Enneagram 5-4-9.

And now that you know A LOT about me, I’m looking forward to hearing from you! 😊
